I have always been a sucker when it comes to functional form. With this in mind, I aim to create intriguing pieces that have a place in everyday life. Whenever possible, I use materials that are headed for the trash bin or burn pile-such as construction materials, fabrication waste, felled limbs and milled fall off. Each piece is hand crafted, original and offers you the experience of owning something that is truly one of a kind . I try to keep things simple- because that's the way they should be. Remember, if you are not happy with your purchase, I will buy it back for 100% of your cost-100% of the time and always feel free to contact me with questions or custom projects.

"i missed how she looked in the morning"
This beautiful piece of walnut was headed for the burn pile on a local farm. Cleaned up, oiled and left with some natural texture in tact, this large bowl is scooped and ready to adorn any table you throw at it.
AMERICAN NOSH 001 sold
Though not in the way you might be used to, this nosh tray is truly "farm to table". This beautiful piece of wood is cut waste of locally milled American ash used for a table build. The tree from which this came, stood for almost a century on a local family farm until it was taken by a storm. The attached walnut bowl was pulled from a burn pile on the same farm, which sits just on the edge of the city, minutes from my house. The "American Nosh-001" tray is the first piece to come from this batch of milled fall off. (16 1/4"L x 13" at the widest point)
The "Longmont" is a 34" long tray made from Juniper. The live edge slab, rough cut saw marks and hand bent steel is a nod to simpler times. Combined with the clean lines and pop of orange acrylic blocks we are reminded that, even in our modern lives, there is room for some rustic goodness. This piece can be used as a nosh tray, raised display shelf or anything else you can imagine. (34"L x 9 1/4" at its widest point)
"WHINE REST" sold
This bottle rest was born from the hard working shoulders of the American Midwest. Hand split walnut and metals salvaged from the labors of building something from scratch. You work hard and never complain, now take a rest-you've earned it.
AMERICAN NOSH 002 sold
The "American Nosh-002" is the second tray to come from a batch of fall off from locally milled material- felled American Ash that stood on a Council Bluffs, IA farm for over a century until a storm did it in. The boards have been used to build dining tables, benches and rail hung doors. Typically, these scraps would be headed for the burn pile so I love giving them a second chance at continuing their story by becoming a part of yours. This tray measures 22" long x 12" wide with an engineered quartz vessel rest and red acrylic feet.
"FEATHER IN YOUR CAP" sold
This textured walnut block, completely tricked out with brushed stainless bars and metallic blue acrylic, is the perfect way to call attention to your favorite 4x6 photograph.
Shown with an aluminum print of the original photo "she refers to me as her love"
"WEATHERED" WALL HOOK"
With a 6" hand bent steel hook, this piece of decor is for more than looks but won't steal the attention from your favorite wool coat or coveted leather hand bag. A block of walnut, angle cut, atop a base of orange acrylic is the perfect accent to the brushed underside of the hook and the already worn painted blue finish. The slice of exposed walnut is modestly finished in a smooth satin sheen.
Base dimensions are 3 14" wide by 4 1/4" tall
